Print version

The definition of the word incomprehensible is impossible to understand or comprehend; unintelligible, incapable of being explained.

Though we were made in the image of God (spiritual not physical), man will never have the countless characteristics belonging only to Deity.

Genesis 1:26

God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend. Job 37:5

Mankind attempts to comprehend what we can see with the eyes or what we are able to know. We have a God who is incomprehensible . To lay hold of something is to mentally comprehend.

that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height
to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge;
that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:17-19

The glorious wonders of our Almighty God are everywhere. The sun, moon and stars are but a few of His magnificent creations.

Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day,
and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also.
Genesis 1:16

The human body is a wonder. In each person, unless a health problem prohibits it from working properly, each organ serves a specific purpose. Our bodies are made up of many cells. A substance called laminin acts as an adhesive - holding one cell to the next cell. God knew that we would need it so that our bodies would not fall apart. Our bodies have so many amazingly intricate parts, .

Genesis 1:27 - Psalm 139:14

To learn more about God, we only have to go to the Bible. There we learn of His creation and His care.

The Holy Spirit a Helper John 14:16,26

God cared for the Israelites while they were in the desert. We read in John 6:31-35 how God sent manna for the Israelites to eat. God sent a pillar of a cloud of fire by night and a pillar of cloud by day for the Israelites to follow and know He was with them.

Exodus 13:21 - Numbers 9:17-23 -

God sends the rain to replenish the earth. Without the rain, we would be in such a mess. Trees, grass and flowers and all plants need to grow, and water is a necessity for this to occur. This relieves heat, and we have a cooler climate.

Recently we were on vacation. One day as I was in my wheelchair, I tilted it back and I looked up at the sky. I just sat there and watched the clouds go past me. How marvelous they are.
