This is a website for children and I think it's great. My little
brother is doing a report over Lincoln for school and this page is really
helping him understand what he's reading. So I say it's wonderful
for it's purpose and I hope the creator comes out with more articles

this sounds like it was written by a 7 year old.
also, the Civil
War was not over slavery, it was over state governments' rights to make
major decisions and veto decisions made by the national government. slavery
was only the issue that started and spurred the controversy.

Thank you for this beautiful and beneficial site. I teach sixth grade
language arts, reading, and social studies. I was browsing for materials
about Abraham Lincoln and happened upon this site.
Not only does it
contain informative biographies, it also contains thought provoking
questions and activities about them.
I also really appreciate a
soothing comforting background to search after a stressful day at
school.
