Mary was a young woman from Nazareth.  She
was engaged to a man named Joseph. 
One day an angel named Gabriel appeared to
Mary. He told her she would have a child.
He would come from the Spirit of God and
He was to be named Jesus.
Joseph was disturbed when he found out that
Mary was going to have a baby. An angel
appeared to him in a dream and told him to
go ahead and marry Mary, that the child she
was going to have was from the Spirit.
When it was time for the baby to be born,
the family was in the town of Bethlehem to
pay their taxes.  The Baby Jesus was born
in a stable because there was no room for
them in the inn.
While he was still very young the family
had to flee to Egypt to save his life.
