Directions: Underline the words in the story as you find them, unscramble them and write them in the boxes below. God created Adam and Eve and put them in the garden of Eden. He told Adam he could eat of any tree in the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Of that tree he was not to eat or he would die. Eve knew about the tree in the middle of the garden and the fact that they were not to eat of it. One day the tempter in the form of a serpent came to Eve. He told her just the opposite of what God had said. He convinced her that God didn't want them to eat of that tree because if they ate of it they would be like God. She was overcome by the temptation. She took the fruit and ate it. She gave some to Adam and he ate of it also. Because of their sin they had to leave the beautiful garden where life had been perfect. Eve began to have children. We don't know how long Eve lived, but Adam her husband was 930 years old when he died.
