About Us

Pat is originally from West Texas and has retired from teaching after a 35 year career. Most of her teaching career was spent teaching second graders, but she taught learning disabled children in a resource room for thirteen years. She enjoys music, her grandchildren, and preparing lessons for students, teachers, and homeschool moms. She and Murray met in 1988 and married a year later.

Murray grew up in South Texas in the Cuero area. He served in the army during WWII in Europe and is a retired petroleum engineer. (Read about his war experiences in Belgium.)
